We are a destination-specific division of a major nationwide travel services company, dedicated to providing information and resources specific to Martinique. 

We put together this site because we love Martinique!  Of all the caribbean islands, Martinique is our favorite, for many reasons, such as it's beautiful beaches and laid-back attitude.  Martinique is a great place to get away from the hubbub and chaos of everyday life, but at the same time Martinique has much to offer - warm and friendly people, a beautiful climate year-round, sparkling turquoise waters that stay calm due to the reefs that encircle the island (which makes Martinique a great place to snorkel or scuba dive), great food, luxury resorts and intimate inns, and plenty of activities.

Why the ads on our site?   Two reasons - lots of people visit our site to find out information about Martinique - so many in fact that our bandwidth costs got to be huge.  The small amount of advertising revenue we get helps to cover those costs so that we can continue to provide the information that we do.

The other reason is the we do extensive research into our "Recommended Merchants" to be sure that they are resources that you can trust - companies that provided a related and useful service or product at a reasonable price.
